Wednesday, July 15 :  we took off from Villeneuve in beautiful weather towards  Grasse. There we met the N85 "Route Napoleon" again and followed it to Castellane, where we headed west towards the "grand Canyon du Verdun". The road that leads towards the Canyon isn't the very best (especially for lowered Softails, right Eicke? ;-) , but the struggle was rewarded by some breath taking views. I'm afraid it's pretty hard to capture theses sights in pictures, but here they come anyways... After we've left the Canyon we continued to Apt via Riez, Valensole and Manosque. In Apt we found a nice campground, and after we had secured the bikes properly, we walked into the village for some food and a very few beers ;-)
